The Maulana Fazlurrahim Foundation (MFF) is a non-profit charitable organization founded by Dr. Samra Sultana as a tribute to her father, the eminent Indian Islamic scholar and educator, Maulana Mohammed Fazlurrahim Mujaddidi. The foundation is inspired by the unwavering commitment of her parents to social welfare and is dedicated to continuing their legacy of service, compassion, and empowerment.
Operating on the principle of acting for the pleasure of Allah, MFF channels its efforts into serving the needy with pure love and dedication, without expectation of praise or reward. The core belief is that every good deed, no matter how small, has the power to transform lives.
The Maulana Fazlurrahim Foundation is dedicated to spreading hope, knowledge, and equality. Its mission is to empower individuals and uplift communities through targeted initiatives that address fundamental needs and create opportunities for growth. The foundation’s vision is to build a society where every individual has the chance to thrive, supported by a compassionate and just community.
MFF focuses on several key areas to achieve its mission, providing essential support and fostering long-term development :
Education for the Underprivileged: A core mission is promoting education, from basic schooling to higher learning. MFF runs initiatives like education sponsorships and the distribution of books and stationery to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent children from accessing quality education.
Community Welfare and Relief: The foundation actively works to provide relief to impoverished communities. This includes conducting food distribution drives, which have delivered nutritious meals to thousands of individuals in vulnerable communities, and distributing blankets to those in need.
Women’s Empowerment: MFF is committed to promoting equality by empowering women through skill development programs, providing them with the tools and opportunities to become self-sufficient and contribute to their communities.
Maulana Mohammed Fazlurrahim Mujaddidi is a distinguished educationist and social activist dedicated to promoting education, justice, and humanity. Born in 1957, he is the son and successor of the great Sufi scholar Hazrat Maulana Shah Mohammad Abdur Rahim Mujaddidi.
“Growing up, I witnessed my beloved father, Maulana Mohammed Fazlurrahim Mujaddidi, dedicate his life to the service of our community. His deep-rooted compassion and unwavering commitment to humanity inspired me to establish this foundation in his name. The Maulana Fazlurrahim Foundation is my humble effort to honor and continue his sacred mission, ensuring his legacy of service and empowerment touches countless more lives.”
