About Dr. Samra Sultana

Dr. Samra Sultana is a dedicated Indian educationalist, researcher, social activist, and motivational speaker.

She has spent over 14 years helping India’s largest minority community through education. She strongly believes that education can change lives and is passionate about breaking stereotypes, especially those around veiled women. Dr. Samra Sultana shows that veiled women can achieve their dreams just like anyone else.

She holds a Ph.D. and an M.B.A. from Amity University. These degrees have helped her manage large teams and lead projects that make a real difference in society. She also completed the Almiyat course from Madrasa Islahul-Banat in Jhansi, which deepened her knowledge of Islamic studies and social work.

Dr. Samra Sultana comes from a family with a strong commitment to education and social service. Her father, Maulana Mohammed Fazlurrahim Mujaddidi, is a well-known educationist and social activist. He is the General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, an ex-member of the Central Waqf Council, and the Rector of Jamea-Tul-Hidaya. His work has been a great inspiration to her. Dr. Samra Sultana’s mother, Sadia, is also involved in promoting education and charity. Dr. Samra Sultana has a younger sister, Sana Fatima, and a younger brother, Mufti Mohammed Habiburrahim, who share the same values of service.

She is married to Dr. Mohammed Shoaib, a key figure in social and political work. Together, they are committed to uplifting marginalized communities and promoting social change.

Dr. Samra Sultana started her career at 19, aiming to make a positive impact. As Vice-Chairperson of Imam Rabbani Group of Schools since 2010, she manages five campuses and a staff of 150, working to provide quality education.

In 2021, Dr. Samra Sultana launched her YouTube channel, sharing motivational content that encourages people to reach their full potential. Her channel also raises awareness about important social issues, especially in education and the role of Muslims in history. That same year, she became a member of the Pink City Press Club, giving her a larger platform to share her views.

In 2022, Dr. Samra Sultana was appointed General Secretary of the Rajasthan Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee. In this role, she continues to advocate for women’s education and social issues at the political level.

In 2023, Dr. Samra Sultana became a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, where she focuses on issues affecting Muslim women. She also founded The Project Together, a skill development initiative that teaches underprivileged women traditional skills like crochet. The project helps women become financially independent and supports their families through education, healthcare, and food drives.

In 2024, Dr. Samra Sultana founded the Maulana Fazlurrahim Foundation. The foundation focuses on child education, social welfare, and empowering women through skill development and economic independence. She also conducted research on the water crisis in Nai-Ki-Thadi, Jaipur, leading to government action that improved water quality in the area.

Dr. Samra Sultana’s contributions extend to organizing food drives for children from below-poverty-line families, showing her deep commitment to social welfare. Her hard work has earned her many awards, including the Hunar Ko Salam 2021 title by Supriya Karnik, the Women of Substance Award 2021 in the Education category, and the Pride of Rajasthan Award in 2023 at Veneration’2023, presented by social activist Sonu Sood.

Dr. Samra Sultana is a leader in education and a beacon of hope for marginalized communities. She continues to work tirelessly for the rights of women and children, making a lasting difference in the lives of many.
